Micah got home Thursday night and flew out Sunday so we had a great weekend together!
It makes you appreciate being together so much more when you're not!
Even though he's only been gone 4 days so far...
Friday night we took the boys to the park and ate dinner outside.
Saturday we drove to Connersville to see and ride on Thomas the Train and meet Sir Topham Hat!
It was super hot out but there was a little rain shower that cooled things down (and washed our car seat/stroller that was waiting for us while we were on the train!). Finn seemed to have fun playing with trains, playing golf, seeing Thomas and I think having Micah carry him the majority of the day! Did I mention it was hot?? He's not a fan of walking in the heat... gets that from me.Saturday night we drove to Bargersville to celebrate Stacy's birthday and Father's Day with Dad. Mom made yummy pork chops and we had enough cake/ice cream cake to fulfill my sugar intake for the next 7 years!
Sunday we went to church, did a cleaning/organization blitz on the house (Micah's purpose was to find a lost RedBox DVD that he remembers getting in the mail over a month ago... no luck!) and then went shopping for clothes! What? Shopping for clothes?? Yes, it was awesome. I think I had 15 whole minutes of quiet shopping time in H&M (Sawyer was sleeping in the stroller while Micah had Finn at another store) and it was a happy Father's Day to me! :) Micah did find some nice pants that he was needing to get for this rotation.
Then Micah flew to PA!
Happy Father's Day to my Dad!
Happy birthday to Stacy with her boys!
With Sir Topham hat and playing with trains
Sawyer sleeping most of the 90 degree heat day away and Finn being a cute fisherman
Fishing time!
Who knew Thomas liked golf? and story time with someone who probably shouldn't read
kids stories again.
On Thomas!
All aboard!
Sawyer's first train ride- check!
