Mr. Sawyer Boo is 9 months old and pulling up and standing every chance he gets just like a goat- he likes to be at the highest look out he can get to. Sawyer had his 9 month check up back at our favorite Dr- Dr Roscoe- and he is staying steady in the 75th % and is 21.5 pounds and 29.25 inches. Our car seat goes to 30 pounds/30 inches and the thought of him almost being too big for his baby car seat makes me start to cry... Having 2 boys in big boy car seats?! Not yet!
Sawyer is eating most of the same foods- fruits, veggies, some O's, oatmeal. He's getting really good at feeding himself with his baby pincer grasp! He is getting to be a fast crawler and LOVES pouncing on Sifl. He also loves bath time and I dread taking him out of the bath as he cries and cries because he is having so much fun!
Sawyer is still sleep training me throughout the night. The first night back in his crib he slept 7 hours and I thought we were home free and going to start sleeping through the night more but the nights that have followed he is still a 5-6 hour man and has a middle of the night feeding still. He also enjoys waking up before the sun and birds around 5-6am. With Micah gone, this means Finn also gets up in the middle of the night and at the crack of dawn because he has bat ears and (since he sleeps with me when Micah's gone) senses any movement when I get up to go to Sawyer's room... So we have middle of the night parties along with early bird fun.
Can't wait until Micah is home for 3 weeks for Christmas time!
